cracked crash - sounds great as ride!?!?
A couple of days ago I posted about my bike emitting strange sounds when braking hard. A variety of theories was introduced by the reeky denizens, most of them suggesting pad inspection/replacement. Yesterday I noticed that my disk was unusually hot after riding--the brakes were dragging, too.

What driver are you using with your mx300? I can't get mine to work longer than 2 second sounds on beta3. I'm using the microsoft-supplied Aureal driver that comes with RC2. The MX300 is not supported in B3 - if you have it working at all you had to have hacked in drivers from later versions or from the win98 ver.
